Eiffage Métal at the Musée d'Orsay

After 13 months of work, the restoration of the East tympanum of the Musée d'Orsay, carried out for Oppic* under the supervision of the Compagnie des Architectes en Chef des Monuments Historiques - Marie-Suzanne de Ponthaud - and the Nemo-K design office, is now complete.

The programme for the operation was:

  • structural reinforcement
  • stripping, scraping, painting
  • diagnosis: tightness, membrane, anti-volatiles
  • scaffolding and acoustic covers
  • the heat-shrinkable containment
  • the protection of glass surfaces
  • the vibration and noise control system
  • fire safety

For a perfect follow-up of the site, the teams used the FinalCad application to carry out nearly 150 significant repairs.
