Exercises co-designed with the plant's Health and Safety department and Lieutenant Alexandre Ulm, training manager for the Lauterbourg (67) territorial unit.
Under conditions "as close to reality as possible," firefighters had to intervene as quickly as possible to evacuate an employee trapped in a confined space. All measures were then taken to prevent secondary accidents.
At the end of the exercise, all participants benefited from a comprehensive debriefing led by Commander Fabrice Hoffmann, Head of the Lauterbourg Fire and Rescue Center.
In a collaborative and friendly spirit, it should be noted that this type of exercise allows everyone to acquire the right reflexes in an emergency, as well as to identify any potential shortcomings.
